"The Claus of the Dead" is what I call this unused background since he looks likes a zombie. I cannot stand how he looks at me with those white, soulless eyes. It like he wants to hypnotize you with those eyes so can use you as a mindless slave.

The one thing I found really different about Mother 3 is that it discarded the creepy/eerie feeling of the final battle in place of immense sadness.

All it needs now is the"Lucas' Nightmare" music playing in the background, then it'd be WORSE than Giygas in Mother 2.

Dude, Giygas wasn't supposed to be in MOTHER 3, this claus image was for the true final battle in MOTHER 3. Itoi had it removed because it was proven to be too scary. Speaking of this, he stated that the N64 version of MOTHER 3 was supposed to be VERY darker.

Why did Nintendo scrap their best projects? They also scrapped Zelda 64 Master Quest as well as the entire Nintendo 64 DD..
